Our Workshop

Before you arrive, I will have prepared in advance, including buying fish at the famous Tsukiji fish market in the early morning—because preparation is the most important part of serving sushi. I will teach you how to make nigiri-sushi and maki-sushi by yourself, so you can have sushi parties at home. While you’re here, friends and visitors from my community may drop into the guesthouse—if so, I hope you have a good time with them as well.

Guest’s Feedback

We enjoyed the evening with Yusuke and others. It was fun and informal and we were introduced to the basic technique of sushi. The food was good and it was an interesting, social alternative to going to a restaurant or just eating at home. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to try their hand at preparing a cuisine they would not normally know how to approach by themselves and do a bit of socializing.

We enjoyed this experience. He got everything ready when we get there, so Sushi making experience went smoothly and also fun. He also made his original handout so that beginners also can learn from the scratch.  Thank you for your hospitality Yusuke-san! Hope to see you again soon.

Although I’m a local who lives in Tokyo, It’s my first Sushi making experience and it was so much fun thanks to Yusuke-san. 寿司作りは人生で初体験!普段の生活ではできない体験ができてとても嬉しかったです。

About us

Sushi is the most popular Japanese food now.
Everybody loves Sushi but even local Japanese also does not know how to make sushi.
We love sushi, and our passion is seeing people gather and mingle.
That might give the tourists more interesting experience during their stay in Japan.
We will have a Sushi party in a very convenient yet hidden neighborhood, where my friend runs a local guest house.
While you’re here, friends and visitors from my community may drop into the guesthouse.

We are waiting you!
